Technology Requirements

Study Remotely
At San Diego Global Knowledge University, we use a learning model that allows you to study from any place where you have access to an Internet connection. The flexible class scheduling, coupled with the university’s learning management systems, provide students the perfect opportunity to learn. As remote work becomes more mainstream and accepted by industry, doesn’t it make sense to study at a school that provides you that flexibility as well?
The following are specifications for the type of computer hardware and software that are recommended for students:

Hardware
- An internet connection – broadband wired or wireless (3G or 4G/LTE)
- Speakers and a microphone or headset
- A webcam or HD webcam
- Monitor settings of 256 or higher colors; 800 x 600 or higher pixels (optional)
- Sound card/speakers installed and working properly (optional)

Operating System
- MacOS X with macOS 10.9 or later, or
- Windows 10 or above

Software
- You can access all SDGKU webpages using one of the following web browsers – Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, Safari, or Microsoft Edge:
